Informational graphics

Today’s reader is inundated – bombarded – with information. In such an environment, the challenge for the Designer in creating Informational graphics is to take complex data and information and boil it down so the reader can readily grasp it. Make it too complex, with too much information? Readers will roll their eyes, give up, and turn the page. Make it too simple? You risk being inaccurate. The trick? The Designer must achieve the right balance – with enough information to keep it accurate, but not so much that that the reader loses interest and gives up.
